Illo Friday "Spotted"

I was messing around on the train on Friday night, and created this starting from the overall rectangle with arcs shape that I picked up from another rider's peasant blouse.

I showed it to a friend, and she said, "I want to see it in color." Instead of breaking out the colored pencils, I scanned it into the confuser and applied some color fills in Photoshop.

That's beautiful. Introducing colour makes me think of how delicious the image would look as a serigraph with large areas of rich inks but the simple line is just as apppealing, it looks more "amusing" and playful with just line.

It's amazing where inspiration can come from, huh? I like both of these, but the color one is quite interesting. Oh, if I do use my new "Z" as my logo, I'll keep the drafting table element. :-)

That's cool! It looks like it could be made into a fabric wall hanging...that blue is wonderful. I love that you call the computer the confuser...

I like your designs. It looks like you put a lot of thought into them.
