Tree in Need of a Story

Give it your best shot! This is a tree in need of a story, and I'm asking—pleading—with you to give it one. Let's hear it!

Thats the tree from Grandpa's back paddock, where he would stand in the shade and look wistfully into the distance ,pondering the worlds problems or maybe just wishing he hadn't upset Grandma and was somewhere else!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Great story, Lee!

I suppose if Grandma was really mad, Grandpa could've slept out under the tree too.

I posted this one on flickr...
It was a dark and stormy night... the thunder rumbled thru the sky... in a flash it was gone.
The storms of 1992 took the main right branch in a thunderous bolt of lightening. Some said the tree wouldn't survive the blow... but here it is alive and well 2008....

how's that for a story?
ps I added a bit too...

Excellent! It has all the necessary Hollywood pieces—tragedy and a happy ending :-D

Well done!

"Oh my gosh, the wind that tore through here last night just wrecked my new leaf-do. How can I stand out here in the sunshine where everyone will see my tangled do?"

Sweet—one from the first person point of view! Perhaps a do rag? Or would that be dew rag? :-P
